Señor Glickenhaus’ road car has come alive , but it is facing stiff competition.

How stiff? Well, it’s gonna have to prove itself against a parallel car, the 2017 Ford GT, which itself is a road car springing forth from race car underpinnings.
But that’s not all, because Lamborghini has made its own challenger, equipped with rear-wheel steering. and 730hp.
And McLaren didn’t come unprepared, either. The 720S is expected to be proof that McLaren is suffering from the same affliction Ferrari is in they are still class leaders in the ever-rising super-exotic tier.

Booking this match makes me feel so, so good. Almost as good as seeing that 1998 match when The Undertaker throw Mankind off Hell in A Cell and through an announcer’s table.

I don’t know much about “Scuderia” Glickenhaus; has it ever amounted to anything more than a rich man’s plaything? All remember are a few rebodied Ferraris and maybe a little racing. It has always felt like his cars received more attention than you’d expect

Ask him. There are times when he shows up on Jalopnik and Oppo to comment. As far as I know SCG is a real outfit. They raced in VLN and Nurburgring 24 and did quite well all things considered.
Could use a televised road-test or two, though.

Comments on Oppo? That’s pretty wild, especially for a dude in his sixties. A road test would be cool, you only see this stuff at events like Pebble and Geneva

I was gonna put the 812 here but I kinda feel like it’s gonna be outgunned by the other four in power. That, and it’s not MR.
Thinking about it now, though, maybe I should. Could stand a chance at staying in pace with at least the McLaren and Lambo.

812 won’t be in it’s class even if the performance numbers are on par. I say lets wait til the 488 Speciale/Scuderia/EVO comes out
