I’m pretty sure no car has been as balls-out batshit sideways more often than the MkII. At any given moment in time since 1974, there has been a MkII sideways somewhere in the world. I hadn’t seen this video before, I usually watch and rewatch Simon McKinley’s (RIP) vids and a couple of others. This is nuts!

This sound will always send shivers up my spine, I can’t imagine what it’s like standing in the woods and hearing this beast approach. If I’m not mistaken they spun these 20Vs to 8000! Just ridiculous, and with the antilag pouring raw gasoline into the exhaust manifold to spool the turbo... madness in the best possible way.
