This one is most likely sold already, but if there are changes of plans and if anyone else wants it on Oppo, I can sell it for $5000 landed in any Ro-Ro port you want!

I have simply never seen one in such great shape! 21422 original kilometers on the clock!! The thing is MINT! 4WD too and it’s the Super Deluxe package with the nice interior. Really crazy to get one in such perfect condition. Those things usually get beat up like hell...

No nice pics for now, just some quick ones. If the buyer I have for it choses not to take it, be certain I’ll have lots of detailed pics for it and a full 20 to 30 minutes video of it later on haha. Such an awesome little thing!

will it carry a 1000cc class sport bike in the back, thats all I need to know

I’d need the dimension of the sports bike, but most likely... Maximum load capacity for it is 350kg so no problem.

80 inches long.

wheel base of 55...

That would fit slightly diagonally yes (not the same keitruck but they are all the same size so...). I will have it measured just to make sure (not with the truck right now).

ohhhhhhh, just BARELY fits. (CBR1000RR is 2023mm long) new R1 is 2055MM long. could probably dent that back panel in 30 mm to fit it....

Only diagonnally... the bottom of the bed is 2030mm but the front wheels are too high and it’s only 1940mm there on this specific truck. The Sambar is a much older one and it might have a couple more centimeters of bed space though haha

It’s a SuperCub right? If so, prices are all over the place on those... You can get some incredbily cheap and some other are surprisingly expensive. Then again, I don’t know much about bikes’ market and I have no idea how much it costs to ship one. I can look into it though if you want.

Just got the dimensions: it’s only 190cm long minimum (196cm maximum) for 132cm wide. Which therefore means it’s 231cm in diagonal, which is way enough for your bike to fit... Esepcially if you turn the front wheel. Or you drive with the rear of the bed opened :)

nbc110 supercub , curious as all the auctions here seem to be in Qld and Sydney which makes it expensive to bring to Victoria.

Damn, that looks great! I so want one someday...

Btw, I’m going to be in Japan in a few months...can I hit you up for some carspotting tips? Whereabouts are you?

I’m in Okazaki, near Nagoya but I work in Amagasaki near Kobe (I go there once or twice a week). When it comes to car spotting, there is the Toyota Museum in Toyota near my place which is awesome, you have Cars and Coffee in Auto Planet Nagoya the first sunday of each month... Around Tokyo you have the infamous Daikoku Futo which will get cars gathering pretty much all the time. Other than that, I would recommend checking out Tsukuba circuit, 2h north of Tokyo... They always have crazy stuff running in the weekends :)

Cool, thanks! I’ll be spending some time in Osaka, and am not sure how far north I’ll get...but those are good reasons to do it!

I don’t know why, but there are three or four Suzuki kei trucks for sale on my local CL. I kind of want to build one into an overlanding truck.

Kinja'd!!! "Flavien Vidal" (flyingfrenchy)

Yes, people import them to use them on their farms... And Suzuki Carry trucks are the easiest and cheapest to buy. They are also the ones that are the less well built though... Best built ones are Honda Acty Truck... Subaru is close second with the Sambar.

Hey Flavien, I’m going to be in Nagoya on 3/18. I’m flying out of Chubu on Sunday morning, so I’ve got a whole day to go sightseeing. I was already planning on going to the Toyota museum. What else is good? Do you want to try and meet up?

Oh man, I’m in Nagano the whole weekend at a friend’s place and driving in the mountains on that day... :(

Why such a short trip? You’re not gonna be there on Monday? Or on Friday? Why are you coming for?

I am in Shiga right now for work. Closest JR station is Notogawa. I flew in yesterday afternoon and got right on the shinkansen.

I’ve got next weekend free though. I don’t have any plans yet, other than I was going to try and find an Upgarage to look around.

Normally I leave from here the morning of my flight, but Delta changed the times so I would have to leave very early to make it. Instead, I’m getting a hotel near Nagoya station for Saturday night

If you’ve got the whole week end free and you’re only in Shiga, take the train to Okazaki... I have lots of free time and can show you around! Not sure what I’d show you lol, but I’m sure we can check out some cars and have a beer (or two) :)

There are a few up garages in my area too...

The same guy has a ACTY for sale. This is really tempting. I may have to buy it. Transporting my old Honda motorcycle around in a Kei truck would be awesome.

You should get it, they are good trucks... If you want one with fairly low mileage (40k miles or so) for around 3000$ landed, I can get you one, but being in Arizona, it’s certainly easier for you to buy locally...

Hmm...... Tempting. And only like $30. I could come out Saturday morning pretty easily. If I could crash at your place I could definitely make it a weekend trip

If I was on the coast I’d definitely get one from you. Do they have those ports in Hawaii? I might be moving there eventually and it might be easier to just get a truck from you and have it shipped there from Japan rather than shipping mine from the mainland.

Hawaii is like California when it comes to import regulations... Forget about importing anything from Japan there... :(

These are the only two pain in the ass states for imports in the US

What is RO-RO shipping to the west coast costing you these days?

Kinja'd!!! "Flavien Vidal" (flyingfrenchy)
03/06/2017 at 09:57, STARS: 0

Between 450 and 800$ depending on the size of the car... The Toyota Crown to the port of Tacoma would have been 707$... The Honda Acty Street Van would have been 589$ (it’s a box so big volume)... The Suzuki Alto Works 470$. All shipped from Kobe.

Doable but I’m staying at my in laws now as I’m moving to Kobe fairly soon... I’d have to check with them if it’s ok first :)
