See those holes up there? Those are the ONLY access between the trunk and backseat of a 1998-2007 Crown Vic. More specifically, my old 2001 model. Which, by chance was very close to the one used in TWD tonight. Well, except for the AWFUL aftermarket sunroof.

The scene in question had Michonne locked in the trunk, and RICK GRIMES behind the wheel. After a quick convo, Rick popped the glass out of the sunroof and climbed out, followed shortly by Michonne.

HOW TF DID SHE ACCESS THE CABIN FROM THE TRUNK???

She’s a small lady, yes, but not small enough to fit into one of those holes, which are about 8" high and a foot wide.

Even with enough time to cut and bend metal out of the way, the noise would bring so many walkers to the car they would have no chance of surviving.

Now if she had been LEFT in the trunk, and the car was a newer model, she could have escaped using the glow-in-the-dark safety release that was added in the 2000 model year, IIRC.

Shame on you, TWD, for trying to pull the wool over the eyes of people all too familiar with the cars you use as plot devices...
