My CL addiction pays off occasionally. I need to buy this car. Need. NEED!
I have few questions. He’s asking $1200 and gives no mention of it even being a runner. This is as much an impulse buy as a pack of Fruit Stripe gum in the checkout lane at the market.

The last one I had was so deep in the 12 second 1/4 mile range , with junkyard parts, it was tickling the 11s.
I’ve aged though, I want to restore one to stone stock. These were Mustang and Camaro killers in their day.

I mean, it’s a GLH...even if it doesn’t work there’s only like three things that can be broken. There’s nothing to those 2.2s.
For the money it looks super clean even if there’s no motor at all. I missed out on a Shelby Charger a few months ago for $700 or so and I’m still mad.

I owned a non-turbo from ‘85 to ‘89 and in 4 years it was worn out. Front wheel bearings twice transmission rebuilt, cam wiped out the follower, door handles broke off. Head gaskets were suspect too.
My interior was falling apart at 5 years, I can’t imagine what it would be like at 32 years.
One last thought, you used to go to the junk year to get parts, heads, transmissions etc. Now?
They were good looking, but not very nice cars. My Citation X11 that I replaced it with was worlds better....
