And today I found the best FWD Plymouth in the world, or the worst Honda ever. Duster Safty image because look at it.
I forgot how I found this, I think I was looking up pics of Smyth kit cars. And then I saw a Civic front end, and a truck bed. I was confused so I had to look into it. The pic came from this Honda-tech FS thread.

And here it is.
It was a Plymouth Scamp, the badge engineering cousin of the Dodge Rampage.Which were L platform cars, same as the Omni/Horizon, but modified to complete with the VW Caddi, and Subaru Brat. Not the best looking Ute in the world.
Now you may be thinking this is just some beautiful 90s Civic body panels slapped onto an ugly 80s Plymouth, in the name of style, but wait there’s more!
Old economy cars aren’t know for making tons of power, so clearly more was needed. Now being an L body car you could theoretically swap in the 2.2 turbo from an Omni GLHI, but instead the owner saw fit to swap in a Honda B16A.
Obviously FWD engine swaps can be complicated especially when the two cars have nothing in common, separated by a decade, and entirely different manufacturers that have literally never worked together. So the evil genius that made this thing found and easier way. Said genius just cut off the front of the Plymouth and slapped on the front of a Honda Civic. A JDM SiR halfcut no less, Boom done and done. Suddenly everything bolts into place!
