A good friend of mine in high school had one. It was the same color; red with a red interior. EVERYTHING was red. And the digital dash was out of Tron; jaw dropping in 1986. Dear God that car was the sh!t for 2 seniors in high school. We had way too much fun in that car.

When I was in the Army, there was a lieutenant who had a brand new one of these cars. One day I was sitting in an office -- I was a private -- with this lieutenant and another lieutenant who was the company XO, and I said I was disappointed that Nissan had gone from a straight-six to a V-6. This lieutenant was adamant that he had a straight-six in his car. I said, “Sir, I’ll bet you lunch at Burger King (across the street) that you have a V-6 in your car.” He replies, “Okay, let’s go out and look.” He never bought me lunch.
