Went past my old job today just to chat it up. They ended up feeding me Popeyes, put me to work and I test drove a car. But first an LS460 they just got.

Went to do a general inquiry on what price a car would be in my particular budget. Had them search for FoSTs on the dealer auction website and everything. Then they had me test drive this beauty.

I’ve driven it before as an employee but couldn’t afford it so it didn’t phase me much. Now that I can own it it changed my outlook. 2011 328i Xdrive with the sport package. Auto trans though and doesn’t have Xenons. Reaaaally wanted that. Does have the cold weather package though and has a heated steering wheel.

That E90 has the light package, meaning it should have the Xenon lights. VIN: WBAPK5G53BNN78927

Hmmm that is interesting. Must further inquire as to what’s going on with the headlights then. It seemed odd to me that someone who optioned the car so well would exclude that key choice.

Enter “NN78927"  http://bimmer.work/ and you can get all the details about that car. I thought it they had angel eyes they had xenon lights, but now that I say that, I’m not 100% sure. I looked up the VIN on my M3 and it does say Xenon lights.

Idk, tbh. It looks just like that one, it appears to be a 328i. But more likely a automatic just based on the area and what not.

As I understand it, “Lights Package” is the interior lights that came standard on all US spec cars. I’m currently looking for a no option E90 and that site has been a god-send. Found it from one of your comments in the past. Thanks!

Now that you say that, I believe you are correct. My friend had an F31 328d, and that had the lights package, which included the xenon lights. I assumed that it was the same for the E90. I know the xenon lights were standard on all US spec E90 M3s, and I’m not sure what option you had to select on the non-M E90 to get xenon lights. I forget if they were part of a package or if they were an option themselves.

I will say it must be different for the 1 series, because I ran the VIN for both my old 128i and my dad’s 135is and the 128i didn’t have the lights package and the 135is does.
