My OG Seiko skx781 Monster made a friend!
(Ignore the dates, I am awful about setting them) Hard to get a proper picture but the bezel is actually a ceramic blue. Based on lighting it can appear anything from pastel blue to black.
Bonus picture in car!
...that awkward feeling when you realize your (not very expensive) watch cost you more than your car.

Like it, nice addition. I’ve looked at modded Seiko divers on ebay. Wife would kill me if I bought another watch right now unless it was a dress watch. Anything sporty I’d catch hell over. I’ve been looking at vintage Seiko 5 automatics lately to replace my one nice Seiko quartz watch that went with suits.

I’m a big fan of loud sport watches right now, work attire is pretty formal so the only place I can have a little fun is watches and socks. The new monster is probably the dressiest watch in my collection.
Seiko does make some pretty good looking dress watches. Have you looked at the SNK793
and the SNXJ89
