If they’ll sell it without the 17s, I might have to go check this out. It does look quite clean, although the price is low enough I’m a bit suspicious. Also it’s like an hour away, which is mildly annoying. I should probably lowball that e28 instead though.

Honestly, the price seems about right. Nobody wants to mess with the 267 V8s, relatively few people want G-body wagons, and it’s pretty much a base model car (crank windows, no A/C, manual locks, etc). If they’re willing to sell it without the 17s I’d recommend checking for frame rot out back, as the wagon rear rails are NLA, IIRC.

Oh are they that undesirable an engine? Yeah I’ll definitely check the frame if I do end up looking at it, I want nothing with sketchy frame rust.

Yeah I look at a lot of automatic American things for needing someone manual again. That said, I’m getting my friends truck in the spring and it’s a 5 speed.
And yeah.....you’re not wrong.

So ~2250 USD, engine is far from a gem, has some patina issues - maybe not CP but not a huge bargain, maybe a fair deal. These aren’t seen much anymore. Would look good on rally wheels.

They just have a really tiny bore and a long stroke. They also only came with the Dualjet, so they’re absolute dogs. Everyone who wants to build up something with a 267 just drops in a 350.
