And is asking me to make a realistic price estimate since she had an accident in it last years. Thing is last year she had a not-neglible accident. Short story she got “scraped” a semi-trailer, with the result of scraping noises when turning left. I say the bodyshell is warped, but I then again I don’t know of any other accidents and adventures she might’ve had with it. I will update upon closer inspection and test drive tomorrow.

That’s a bit odd, but I guess if the body is really warped it could cause the scraping of some suspension parts if stuff is not properly aligned anymore. It could also be something completely unrelated to that damage though, like normal wear. Did the scraping start after the accident?

In b 4 someone says “tree-fiddy”.

Theyre not worth much anyway, add the accident damage and youre not looking at much at all...

I was already thinking about gutting it and selling all the good pieces as spares.

Clapped out Corsa C with serious structural damage? A realistic price would probably be 75 quid and a pint of ale, tbh.

Its the effort and space taken up while you do thay though. Really depends on whether you have somewhere to store a cars worth of parts until they sell.

I work at a Truck/Car repair shop that also does towing and has a scrapyard for wrecks and decomissioned vehicles. Knowing my Chef he’d probably be okay with me gutting it as long as I still make revenue.

Seems a decent option then.
