I sometimes still wonder where Sharon is. She didn’t get auctioned off, the trade-in dealer kept her. Within a week or so she’s gone.
Sometimes when I see a Stealth Gray Metallic G6 sedan pass by, I still look for hints.

When I traded in my A4 the sales manager said he was just going to wholesale it as it wasn’t something they’d keep on the lot. Monday morning it was on their website detailed and priced way higher than what I got in trade.

Yep. Trade in value is not fair.
As well, RWD cars in Minnesota are generally verboten unless you have car storage.

I found my old E24 on Craigslist a few months after I sold it, but didn’t have the money to buy it back. It was in even worse shape, like someone thrashed it and then took it off the road. I actually cried...

I avoided looking up my former car (‘08 Mazda3 hatch) online at the dealer after I traded it in. I did have to stop by for something shortly after I bought my 6 and I saw it sitting in the used car area all alone. I had to purposely look away!
Thankfully, the dealer is in another town about 40 miles away from me so I haven’t seen it driving around.

I never have to worry about this because my cars go to the junkyard. They sell a few parts off it if they can, then the car gets crushed.
One time I went to the junkyard a month or two later, and someone had bought the wheels/tires off it.

When I traded in my Genesis Coupe for my GTO on a Friday, the Gen was sold Monday by the dealer. I found that out when I remember to cancel my XM on Tuesday. It was cancelled the day before.
