Trim and engine work is moving more slowly than anticipated. He is apologetic, but I am likely looking at another month or more. The shop was full of cars, so I think he is overloaded. I am eager but not rushing.
It is spring here, and the car would be lovely. Riding the Vespa, the air is full of the smell of millions of blossoms. I drove my Infiniti to a client’s ranch and got some photos. But I had to be careful of all the bees, as farmers have a lot of hives out.

Ah yes, the classic car, the time schedules. My Z is not done yet either, I thought for sure by now! It was raining a lot here in CA in case nobody heard, opposite of the lack of rain before. So I am not upset, I wouldn’t be heading up the coast in a rainstorm anyway. But it will look great after this last bodywork and removal of the side trim, JDM yo!But soon it will be worth it. My friend’s brother is a body guy that works out of his shop and owns Zs himself so he knows them inside and out.

A rushed restoration is never a good one, she’ll be worth the wait. The best paint and body guys I know are all backed up, it takes what it takes. At least your pride and joy is moving forward, could be worse! The valley’s got to be beautiful now with everything green and blooming.
