The cheapest plunger I can find on Amazon that size is about $10, meaning this picture cost $120 alone. I hope the city can find a cheaper way to do it than that.

I’ve unfortunately been on the other end of the government contract. In my six-month term my boss and I saved tax payers over a half-million over what his peers were encouraging us to do. And we were still grossly overpaying for shit a lot of the time.

Amazon’s a bad choice since they have to build shipping into it. Home Depot sells them for $3, and I’m sure you could get them even cheaper buying in bulk from some plumbing supply company.
