One owner, 144,000 miles, 24v Cummins.. So wonderfully stone stock I can’t not love it.
I just don’t see $12,000 there. Some coal roller will though and they’ll destroy it. Dammit!

This is my friends 3500 with the 6.2l Detroit Diesel... Specificity : it’s manual!
I had to drive a 2016 2500 with the Cummins about 2 weeks ago... It’s big, it pulls but... Meh. No thanks :)

Before I got the 4Runner, I almost got one of those. Man prices have risen. It was a 2001, 186k miles, 4WD, blue, bone stock engine, elderly man mods(white line tires and ugly steps), and absolutely brand new looking inside and out. The price: $6995. It sold out from under me.

Having owned a 24v, I can assure you, that the rust is also strong underneath those wheel arch covers. A nice looking truck otherwise!

In 2014 my 3500 was totaled with closer to 300k on the clock and I got $11,500 insurance payout. So I am not so sure that the price is too absurd when the seller will probably move a bit on it.

This was the one that was totaled in the fall of 2014. 1999 Ram 3500 Quad Cab Laramie SLT with the Cummins, the hide-a-ball, and the 4:10 rear.
Has since been replaced with this:

If the frame isn’t rotted that’s worth every penny of $12k

They’ll get $12,000 for it. At this point you can ask basically whatever you want for a Cummins Dodge, unfortunately

Ain’t it though? It’s so not what I need, but damn is it tempting anyways.

A 24V cummins that clean would sell for twice that here in NY. If that were a short box I’d be on my way to get it right now.
