The second masking picture is confusing me.
The finished lettering is black, and the masking already has paint on it, yet the lettering is white still.
I’m sure there’s a simple and obvious solution I’m missing here, but I can’t figure it out. Please spare my brain by pointing out the forest behind the trees.

I don’t know how it was done here but when I’ve made my own custom stencils I’ve done a couple of test sprays on card board so I could fix mistakes before they went on the finished project.

dying to go work on it. Still waiting to finish up new wiring after replacing the starter solenoid. I haven’t heard that v8 rumble in too long.
And man you thought it was loud with the 4 cylinder, imagine how loud this car is with the v8 and dual flow’s! But really though, there’s zero sound deadening in these things - I can hear the gas tank slosh when I stop and turn it off.

I’ve thought about doing something like this for my truck, but I have yet to settle on anything specific. At any rate, I still haven’t made up my mind about which side it ought to be on. Right side feels best for accuracy, but technically, the Fujiwara car has it on “the driver’s side”.
