What stock wheels would look best on my car?

Because it sure isn’t these hubcaps. I’m really annoyed that the Prius is 5x100, not 5x114.3, as the previous generation had some really attractive wheels hidden under its ugly hubcaps. So yeah... I really want to get something nicer for my car, but with the Prius ruled out, I’m not sure what.

One thing I’m thinking is possibly some SN95 3-spokes in any of the different styles, just because it seems to go with the pseudo-retro design of the Soul.

Kinja'd!!!

Only problem is the offset is about 14mm lower, so it might stick out a tiny bit, and that’s the last thing I want until someone makes some subtle fender flares for my car. Which will be never.

So yeah. My current wheels are 6x15ET44 with a 67.1mm center bore. Ideally, I want 16" or possibly 17" wheels, but absolutely nothing larger than that. The stock 18s on higher trims look ridiculous.

Side note: I think I’m gonna ditch the hubcaps altogether next time I rotate my tires, and replace them with some old wire-spoke ones off of an ‘80s Cadillac or something. If I’m stuck with hubcaps, I’m going all out.

How is the Soul to own? I’ve only ridden in one as a rear passenger once. It was absolutely delightful. :)

As for your question, I approve of the ‘Stang wheels. I kinda like tyres that stick out, sometimes it gives a car a very aggressive look.

Just run the black steelies, I had a black neon that I pulled the hubcaps off and ran straight steel wheels, looked pretty decent and way better than the neon flower looking hubcaps

14-16 Soul wheels look good. I know because I had them:

94-98 Cobra wheels look exceptionally nice, are 17" and can be had pretty cheap from the list of Craig. Note the center bore is like 72mm so you’ll also need some hub spacers. They’re only about $15 a set from Summit, though:

Just went on Google and searched up some 5x114.3 wheels.

Apparently these 18's from the Nissan 350Z are 5x114.3, or 17's , as well, same with these from a G35.

Apparently, so are FD2 Type-R wheels.

Also, it seems a bunch of styles off of LX and LD Dodge Chargers are 5x114.3. I guess there’s actually a lot of OEM wheels from all different brands that have that lug pattern, even some Maserati wheels (imagine THOSE on a Soul!)

I’d remove the plastic covers and paint the steelies some absurd color.

Very nice! No complaints yet, although I have noticed that it shifts from first to second slightly rough in the cold. I might have them check it under warranty, though. I still have plenty of time to do that, so it’s no rush.

Steelies - paint them white, add mudflaps and some frontal spotlights. Pseudo-rally car complete.

Ooooh, very nice! Both of them are! I’ll definitely look into that.

Is it a 5x114.5? If so the factory 17" 10 spokes on the Juke look fantastic. You could easily change the center cap.

We have the same car right down to the stupid plastic covers. It’s a great little hatch it has been super cheap and easy to own but it sucks going over bumps.

You can also find these Mustang wheels pretty cheap:

And the offset on those isn’t so bad:

They fill out the wheel arches and don’t look ostentatious.

They work well with the car also.

If there’s a Hyundai/Kia dealer near you that does aftermarket wheels call and ask about takeoffs. That bolt pattern is on like half of the cars in the world anymore it seems.

That’s awesome! I’ve always been a fan of Kia, haven’t really had a chance to drive their latest offerings.

Some transmissions will do that, but you do have that amazeballs warranty, so it would be worth a check!

That’s pretty much what I hear in a nutshell, probably why Kia just can’t stop selling them. :)

My mother had a soul for six months in 2013 and I absolutely loved it. We had to get the entire dashboard replaced (under warranty, thankfully) but other than that it was great. Sadly, she sold it because she needed a larger vehicle. I move out in about a year and a half and she plans on downsizing then.

I have some ‘98 Ford Escort sedan rims on my 2009 Hyundai Accent during the summer (my winter rims are the original steelies and hubcaps).

They don’t look that amazing and I want to find some nice replacements. They are pretty dinged up and dirty, but at least they are alloys and straight with no bends! :)

5x144.3 is actualy 5x4.5. It’s used on just about every Jeep from the 80's and 90's too, although you’re looking at some fairly large positive offsets for most Jeep wheels, and even the alloys are seriously chunky, not to mention only being 15" if that’s not your thing. Lots of wheel availability, though.

Ferrari 458 wheels have the same bolt pattern! 5 x 114.3mm. Not sure about the offset and they are 20's. Would be comical though!
