This happens to me more often than not. It still recommends and un-recommends the post, but the number goes down each time you click.

hmm, you’re right, I just downgraded this post from 5 to 2. Lets see if it sticks. it looks like it has something to do with the way stars are tallied vs refresh rate

Only to 0, and it corrects itself when you refresh - it’s no fun.
