I just got a BBC update that the House intelligence commitee has decided to open up an investigation into Trump’s ties to Russia. The House is run by Republicans btw. The DOJ has also come out and said that Jeff Sessions had contact with Russian officials before the election. Trump’s a shady motherfucker. Either accept it, or deal with it, but don’t be a delicate snowflake about it. Anyone who thought Trump was any less corrupt than Hillary is gullible. Homeboy was a real estate mogul in NYC in the ‘70s, meaning he was in deep with the Italian mob back then. Of course he’s now in deep with the Russians. You got duped, deal with it. That’s really my number one issue. The comment section on the FP has basically become Mother Jones: say one thing that doesn’t totally support their (liberal) agenda, and you’re a racist Trump supporting piece of shit and people are legitimately angry at you for saying essentially nothing. I manage to get through the day while disagreeing with basically everybody I know, and then I still like them because I’m a sane, reasonable person.

It isn’t that I care they think it, it’s that they tend to attack you rather than have a conversation. If I leave a comment, like here, it’s usually to have a conversation. I like to be convinced of things, if I say X and then you say ‘actually it’s Y, because...’ you can convince me I’m wrong, I’m open minded like that. My general rule is just not to read things I’m not interested in. I am interested in politics, and am generally more liberal, so I can’t exactly relate to you on this point.
But a similar thing for me would be all the F1 posts. Sometimes for days everything on Jalopnik is about F1. I don’t care about F1, and honestly it does get annoying when they don’t put out anything I care about for a day or days.
But I just realize it isn’t for me and move on.
