Kinja'd!!!

My son told me that the AMG-GT is his dream car. It would be mind too if I was 6.

Kudos to House of Imports Buena Park to literally letting my son play in a $143 thousand dollar sports car and not being a dick about it.

Such a happy looking kid, this is great parenting!! Tell him to work hard, get good grades, save a lot, invest, and keep it a priority. Then pray he can catch the bottom of the depreciation curve in 20 years.

Thanks. I told him by the time he’s old enough to get one we might have flying cars.

I got him started on cars early. Before he was even one I was reading Car&Driver and Motor Trend to him while he was drinking his bottle.

I’m the sure salesmen were cringing when he touched the matte finish. My daughter once slapped the side of a $140k Alpina B7 while waiting at a dealership. Her dream car is a World Rally Blue WRX with gold wheels.

I thought so too. Even went as far as not even letting him touch it until one of the sales managers actually opened the door and said go ahead. Even got him Dove hot chocolate (which I wasnt even aware they made).

Did they say anything to your daughter about that? & your daughter has good taste. Especially for the wheels.

I was buying a car at the time so they didn’t say anything. A three year-old in a high end dealership is a good bargaining chip. I was screaming internally.

High end dealerships are usually a lot more relaxed about their cars than ‘regular’ dealer is. A Mercedes dealership, or other type place that deals with cars like this all the time only sees it as another car, and wants you to experience it because that is what sells them. In comparison, the Dodge dealer near me had two Vipers that were both roped off and kept inside. I wonder why that car failed?

Hopefully it will come to pass. Not some crap with wings but something that hovers not far off the ground.

I’ve actually got the opposite hope. With all the morons on the road that last thing you want them to do is get into the air.

Besides: preflight checks, English fluency*, air traffic regulations especially near airports... It would be a total shitshow.

*Not trying to single people out based on origin here, let’s be clear. but the facts are that people in the air need a common language as you absolutely MUST communicate. It’s required, in fact. As opposed to a standard drivers license, which doesn’t require anything. In fact here in Ontario you can request to take the test in your own language. Doesn’t make much difference on the ground (apart from road signs) but in the air...
