That’s not a bad price at all if the body is as solid as described. Too bad my bank account and other projects means this would receive an immediate “No” from my wife. :(

Yeah in college I saw one for sale in a lot, not bad shape. If I had a collection I would have to have a suicide Conti for cruise duty.

It’s a foot shorter than the one I have. ‘60s suicide door models were a *downsize*.

I love that even in the inner city (if the map is correct) cars like this are just hiding out in garages untouched.

Maybe it’s one of those ‘better to ask forgiveness than permission’ type things? Sorta like bringing home an absolutely adorable fluffy puppy- you just can’t say no.

I take no responsibility if you go this route! (But please post more photos if you do.)

I’m not surprised that the 1st comment is from you on this—

Hmmm... Would take a very close examination underneath, but maybe a NP?? I find it amusing that they covered the plates on a car that hasn’t moved in 40 years.

I thought that was amusing too. Yea, like I said if it’s as solid as described it’s NP, the bottom would be the big worry since concrete breaths, but since it doesn’t look like it was under a cover that probably won’t be an issue

The fact that the brake and fuel lines are ‘gone’ is disconcerting to me - - not sure what the seller means by that (missing or just trashed), but perhaps a sign of other rust down low?

This is Oppo at it’s finest - encouraging bad ideas. I support this fully.

Thats sounds like an incredibly low price for an iconic American luxury car. Would consider buying.

Brake and fuel lines are the first things to rust on any car, even if they are in decent condition.

Yes- you would definitely want to replace them, I’m just wondering if it’s a sign that there’s more rust down below. Pretty sure that’s a unibody, which could make it a headache to repair.

I mean if it hasn’t moved in over 30 years not much is going to be in serviceable condition besides the body. But still a good price in my opinion
