So, 2 stories.
1. my friend used to call 3000GT’s “B000GT’s” cause the 3 font looked like a b.
2. My brother may have helped a B000GT die today.
I just got a call from him that someone in a 3000gt pulled up and wanted to race at the freeway onramp. The bishi goes, my brother in his LGT [mild tune, different exhaust, etc] goes. They are pretty close, then much smoke and CLATTER CLATTER CLATTER dead. The bishi is on the side of the highway in a cloud of smoke.
For one, who challenges people to street races anymore? for another...some one had a very bad day today. Have a B000GT for your time.

A lot of people. Assuming it’s a casual run for fun, and not a “Racing for pinks, bro” mean mug contest where the first person to break their Dom Torreto character loses.
That sucks... One of my dream cars but if I’m going to have something that’s as temperamental as those apparently are, I’d rather go fd rx7. Hopefully his is up and running again soon!

Nice. Yea, calling someone out to race is a rare occurrence.
Impromptu dick measuring happens quite often though.
Happened to me last night: I right turn merged on to a 2 lane road, and a car in the far left started to speed up, as I complete the merge. My car Isn’t a rocket ship, but it damn well holds its own. I maintained the gap despite his effort, there were other cars in front of me ahead, but no one in the left so I changed into his lane (again there was a nice gap, so it wouldn’t be categorized as cutting him off), as the light a head turn red .
After we got the green, I gassed it some, he kept pace like he wanted to feel me out for real, I went back to the right and kept my right turn signal on as I was taking the next off ramp. Up ahead was a nice uphill straight that he def would have tried to challenge me on, but slowed after noticing I kept the turn signal on, clearly scoping out the wagon that some how managed to surprise him.
Notice I didn’t say I spanked him, it was an ‘15 sti, so if he really wanted to he could have blocked me out with a simple down shift but the wagon causes people to underestimate. Also my car looks like nothing else ever from the back, especially with the turbo badge. Most performance cars are faster than my car, but most dont suspect its performance, an aggressive 5 speed and 25psi, can do amazing things.
TL;DR: my dick isn’t huge, but give it a second and it’ll surprise you.

I worked with a guy right out of college for a couple years that had one of those, even the same black color. He let me ride along on a lunch run once - even with a rolling start, that “no show, all go” launch was memorable.
