Does anyone want to buy my S600 ? I’m going to take it in to the Lexus dealer on Saturday and I probably won’t be taking it home. I hate to see it go, but I think it’s time for a change. Trade in is around $11000 apparently. I want to cry, but I know it’s the right choice...

Compared to the US no but relatively speaking yes, my Abarth 500 that I traded in at Christmas only lost about 3k in value in 3 years, which is very good. Anything small to medium sized from a premium marque and diesel (at the moment) will, ie BMW 320d, 118d, current A class diesel, A3 (or Golf) diesel or their CUV equivalents especially etc, though we know that is going to change soon!

I doubt nicely is the correct term but yeah you can pick up 10 year old german luxobarge for very little, especially if it has a petrol engine because they cost so much to run and anyone who can really afford to run one can afford to buy (or lease) a new one, so no one wants them.

Don’t know if you still care but, that 221 was just certified and would have a one year warranty from time of purchase, but you could get up to three years. All unlimited miles. CPO cars have to be in excellent condition and totally caught up on maintenance, so they’re very safe to buy.
