That entire “addition” looks like something I’d do, and that’s not a good thing (I think the birdhouse my son and I built during Y-Guides was condemned by the bird habitat authority after one bird cut himself on one of the many exposed nails). It also looks like the area above the main entry door has a similar issue.

That house looks like it was built by a carpenter who doesn’t own a level and has one leg shorter than the other and didn’t bother to stand on the same side of things when eyeballing them to see if they were level and plumb.

There are lots of strange angles here, some part of the building, some are illusions caused by the camera perspective.
The thing that bugs me the most is the different garage overhangs. The overhang moves back from the supporting column to the grey wall, making the bottom of the wood area look bent. I’d post a screencap, but it keeps getting Kinja’d.

I think it was designed that way. have seen a few odd roofs over the past decade in magazines. Betting somebody has been surfing architectural magazines while stoned.
I think it was to help runoff to the gutter on that corner and prevent standing water issues. If it does ever leak I’m betting the rooms behind the low corner and front wall will be soaked.
