I’ve been recently think I should get a mustang logo tattoo. A small one on my upper left arm. Like this

Kinja'd!!!

Does OPPO Approve? Would I regret this? I don’t see mustangs leaving my blood as I’ve always liked them, so I’m just looking for second thoughts, my family obviously disproves but because they aren’t gearheads or anything

Also I’m not gonna get a shitty tat  it would be expensive but if I do it I’m getting a nice one, quality work, done by a serious professional

With or without the bars?

Either way, ask Ford if they’d pay for it!

I’d personally go for something a little more subtle.

I would go to the cheapest, disease free studio for that. Don’t pay an artist to copy a logo on you. Any schmuck can do that. The artists I know would throw some big number at you if you came in asking for a car logo as they would know you wouldn’t know any better and would most likely pay it.

If you have to ask people about your tattoo idea than you should probably do some more thinking before you get it. I say do whatever makes you happy, but if you know it is going to make you happy then you don’t need to ask anyone.

I vote no. And I own this, which gives my vote great weight and credibility! :) (I’m just not a fan of tattoos.)

Do it.

Just make sure you’re OK with permanence. And be sure to watch as many laser tattoo removal videos as possible so you know what you’re up against if you change your mind in 20 years. They have inks now that are designed to break down easy with a laser, and look no different than any other tattoo (don’t remember the name).

And do it sober, or else you’ll bleed like a sonofabitch.

You might be a redneck.

BUT, worth it if you can get Ford to pay you for the advertising for life...so hey.

My opinion (which you can feel free to ignore, especially since I never plan to get any tattoos), is that a tattoo should be an original design, and especially not a logo. I’d say collaborate with your tattoo artist to get something inspired by the Mustang logo or a more spiced up version. I hear that tattoo artists much rather prefer that anyway.

I’m gonna say No. Like has been already said, talk to a tattoo artist and get them to design something unique that’s inspired by the Mustang Logo. To lend legitimacy to my oppopinion, this is my car:

I’m voting no. Full disclosure my bias is no tattoos but I can understand why you want one. It does read as a bit trashy though, and it feels like you’d have to fanboy pretty hard to get a tattoo of a brand name. Serious question - why are mustangs so important to you? Maybe that could provide some insight into how to get a more meaningful/personal tat. Also would suggest not getting it anywhere particularly visible if you have to maintain any sense of professionalism ever.
