Did anyone else notice the Escala ad during the Oscars last night? Maybe they just showed the La La Escala when they meant to show the Escalade Moonroof?

It just seems weird that they would make an ad buy like that for what’s just a concept car. I mean, are they really going to try and bring it to market or should I just accept that it’s a bit of PR buzz that I’m contributing to?

My two friends who are not car heads assumed it was a real car that was coming out. They missed the fine print in the ad and were confused when I explained it was a concept that will inspire the future cadillacs.

Swing and a miss for Cadillac on that ad. Their other ad that had the CT6 and ATS V was much better.

There is not a single company that shows more concepts that won’t be produced then Cadillac. They’re always like look what we can do and then don’t. I mean even Lexus is actually producing crazy concept cars these days. It’s what’s going to keep Cadillac down.
