I have a bad habit of taking too many pictures of our cars. Almost as bad as my habit as spending hours upon hours researching various mods. I should go out and enjoy them instead, but San Diego has decided endless rain is a better option.

Also, the rally 124 is badass with its 4C engine and hardtop but if I had my hands on one it would definitely end up like this:

Zed’s are reaching unattainable money and people want way too much for ones that are almost not worth saving, sadly. I have such a soft spot for the original 240Zs and would love to restro-mod one someday, if I ever win the lottery.

I am also completely jealous of your beautiful Z, if that is yours. You are correct though, because I would trade the Miata for a 240Z in a heartbeat.

Do not resto mod...... If you did then use a 280Z and back date the ugly bumpers. I just don’t believe in cutting them for coilovers etc.. which you pretty much have to do if you drop a crapload of power in one, because they are not meant for that much power. That pic isn’t mine but I have an orange 71 just like it. I have posted build pics, just the other day in fact, a little more work to do, deleting the awful dealer option side trim. I built the Mazda booth for the auto show and I got to slowly drive a Miata Cup car into it’s spot. I would like one but I have too much to do as it is. I think I like the first Miata and the newest, not much love for the others.

I honestly hadn’t realized the 124 Rally got the 4c engine. I would love a white 124 Abarth with the black hood and trunk and a black hardtop.
