I rented a power snake to clear a drain. I felt it grab, and then heard a pop at some point. Looks like there’s now about 11 feet of the stuff in the pipe. Hoping the end is accessible when I open the nut closest to the wall.

UPDATE: on further investigation it looks like this is only a 25' cable, so only a small length seems to have broken off. Still clogged though. I’ll call the local drain gurus in the morning.
