RIght now, I own a 2006 G35 Coupe and a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Jeep runs but is a POS (eats coolant, has frame/steering issues) and is dangerous to drive on windy/slushy days. The G35 just hates winter but has been a great car overall.
I am contemplating reducing down to 1 vehicle that has both AWD and good power (or potential with a tune). I’d love to find a manual in any choice, but am willing to go autotragic. Unfortunately, I will have to trade + finance as well.
These are the choices I’ve come up with so far:
2012 Audi A4 Avant
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
2011 Dodge Charger R/T AWD
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
2011 BMW 335i xDrive
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
What do?

It is so hard to find one that hasn’t been already modded or has high mileage.
Although, I did find this example:

AltasM did the same. went from 2 cars (a 128I and a jeep) to 1 (335xi) he seems to like it.

How about a Taurus SHO or Lincoln MKS Ecoboost? With a tune and a good air day they will run high 12 quarter mile times. The Lincolns can often be had for less than a comparable SHO.

Thats a thought, although I don’t really like FWD based AWD.
I’ll browse for a bit.

Why not an Infiniti with AWD?

I like this idea and counter with Fusion with awd. Not as much power as SHO as they have a 2.0 turbo but 240hp isn’t bad! And they can be had for $20000 with low miles. Try to find a titanium model rather than sport for better toys.

Honestly, I kind of want to try a brand that I’ve not owned yet.
I’ve owned various Acuras, Audis and Infinitis over the years and not much else.

Quattro is 50/50 all the time, but it will shift torque around.

If you can get passed the fwd bias. Consider the MKZ awd. The big v6 in the last gen was capable of beating an m5 through the slalom course with only a set of performance summer tires.
