It’s bold... it’s blue... it’s the 2016 Hyundai Sonata!
It’s not very fast.
But it has CarPlay!
Which I’ve found pretty handy. CarPlay is best in cars which lack native, in-dash navigation.
Apple Watch integration...
It comes equipped with a backup camera, although it’s not hard to see out the rear window.
And integrated SoundHound lets you sing karaoke while you drive!
It also looks pretty good for what it is... I’d say that it beats the outgoing Camry and the current Accord, but loses to the amazing Mazda6.
Well, there you go. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with its standard equipment (CarPlay, 7" touchscreen, rearview camera, satellite radio), the amount of rear legroom (coming from a 3-Series, that’s not saying much), and the interior fit-and-finish. Overall, not bad.

I had a Jeep Compass today. The radio looked like it should have had a tape deck and I don’t think there’s any way to adjust seat height, so my knees were smashed into the lower dash/steering column all day. I’m jealous...but if I hadn’t asked for 4wd I probably would’ve had something nicer.

It’s okay. We received a vile Hyundai Accent low on washer fluid and equipped with a burger under the hood. The only reason why we have this is because we called to complain and exchange it for something else...
