In 1955, the German National Railway ordered thirty modified Volkswagen Camper Vans. The railroad used them for transporting work crews and track inspection. The video’s in German, but the rough translation: this is pretty damn cool. Going down the rails in a VW... one of the better ways to travel in my opinion. You have to love that air horn.
