I actually just put my 2 weeks in at the first job where my boss appreciated me and no one else. It’s always been the other way around.

Yeah, it was a “server” in a nursing home. Pay was barely better than minimum wage, hours varied from 11 a week to nearly 40. I mostly worked with immature high school kids who always called off and left me doing everything, and the company itself has some dumb ideas they planned on implementing in March which I wanted nothing to do with.

For now, I’m going back to being a restaurant server at a little family diner. Tips are nice enough and it’s only until the summer when I’ll hopefully be moving or starting school.
