I know that feeling...

When I totaled my Vanagon I dropped it off at the VW dealer where I worked and had to watch as everyday the mechanics stripped her for parts and used her for storage before the insurance company hauled her away. All that time and effort put into that vehicle, and I had to watch as she turned into garbage, all the while I had some pre-twenty sense of optimism that she would be fixed.

How many of those had busted or open windows? The ambient lighting in the top pic suggests a convertible.

Many of them do have open windows. On others, it looks like people just broke them out, perhaps just for ‘fun’; pay your $1 admission and get to go in and break stuff without consequences.

Others have been in some pretty serious accidents - ‘jaws of life’ kind of accidents. I’ve even seen vehicles with ‘Biohazard’ stickers on the windows, so you can guess how serious those accidents must have been. I don’t remember what the car was in the first picture, but judging by the height of the B-pillar I’d be willing to bet that it was once had a solid roof.

Looks like the Seats in my SN95 Mustang convertible.....I really need to redo the interior.
