Even as a dorky 17 year old in his fathers Olds Cutlass Ciera, I don’t think I’ve ever gone through a tunnel without winding out the gears.

It’s honestly a bit depressing that I get a bigger grin listening to this video on a cell phone than I do flogging my bone stock Civic (at least it’s an Si /cries ) through a tunnel with all the windows down.

I should at least put an exhaust on this car, I’ve had it for seven years now.

Is it a K20? I recommend to keep it OEM. A nice little Mugen exhaust will ensure easy fitment and minimal drone. The sound improvement will be significant.

My aftermarket Tubi Style (one of the most popular exhaust shops for Italian cars, along with Capristo) drones incredibly once warmed up, but then the car isn’t a daily driver.

Yep, it’s a K20 car (‘08 Si Sedan). Picked it up as a daily after returning to the states from a European summer vacation/early midlife crisis. I wanted something reliable, fairly inexpensive to maintain, moderately fuel efficient (it’s a DD), and not coma-inducing to drive, and this checked all the boxes.

I’d planned on replacing/upgrading things as maintenance deemed necessary, but nothing has failed on it yet (knocks on wood).

I’d looked at both Mugen and Spoon (I know, I know, JDM fanboy, but I still honestly believe they make some of the better Honda stuff), but memories of a droning 240SX I’d owned years ago have kept me from pulling the trigger so far.
