Stuck in traffic on Saturday. The donk pulled alongside the low rider, and they started showing off for each other, bouncing up and down and waving the trunk lid. My daughter took the pics. It made the traffic jam pass easier.

I love the same cars the lowriders love (‘58-’64 Impalas), and would love one like that ‘62 - but unmodified, for me. Great to see that these guys are saving those cars from the crusher though—

I was always a fan of the skill that went in to a true low rider. The paint jobs on some of them are magnificent.
