My son was represented to represent his junior high on robotics at the Tournament

of Technology. He will be attending NASA robotics camp in Alabama this summer. He did Space Camp last year.

Smart kid.

And I am intimidated by drum brake shoes on the Vespa.

Get him into FIRST Robotics if you can, that’s an amazing program to follow. I miss my two years and it’s been fun mentoring a team with the state regional coming up next weekend!

If you’re intimidated, get him to do them. He sounds smart.

Awesome!

Drums brakes are a PITA. I bet there are some YouTube videos for it. You can do it!

I can’t second this enough. FIRST Robotics is probably the best thing I have ever done.

Why is the NASA camp in Alabama? Do they just pray and hope the robots work?

I was intimidated by drums until I had axle issue on my ‘66 GMC. Pulled the drums apart four times in one week. You need those long ass pliers from Harbor Freight.

Highly recommended here too! My son is in his second year as a FLL competitor. Great program!
