My jag has a light wood dashboard which isn’t very contemporary for the time period and there’s a very good reason for that.

It’s not light wood.

See they came from the factory with a cherry wood dashboard. But over the years the sun bleached the color out of the wood and turned it into a light-yellowish color. One that I think looks better than factory.

Jags of that era had different wood trim options.

Your Jag was most definitely not ordered with the Burl Wood option shown in picture 2.
