At minimum I don’t think it gets enough credit for its handsome styling. Low, wide hoods are sexy.
And for bringing back the colorful badge!
The interior seems well laid-out and the leather looks really good, but I think making the flat black plastic glossy would have helped a lot.
I really like the profile of the hood and greenhouse. The decklid and rear quarter seem a bit high though.
If it mimicked the decklid height of the concept it’d be perfect.
Overall a solid effort that didn’t get the attention it deserved. Outside of the S90 I can’t think of any 2017 car that’s handsome and understated without being boring.

The biggest knock against the LaCrosse, and its Impala and XTS siblings, is it’s impossible to see out of the damn things. Rear view in an Impala rental I had over the summer:

These are probably my favorite cars to do pre-purchase inspections on at work. They’re so nice to be in and are incredibly well mannered on the road. They’re pretty damn quick too.

I agree, it’s a damn good looking car. I’m very tempted to get one of these in a few years, and take some nice long road trips with the family. Nothing eats the miles like a big comfy Buick.

I think these look fantastic, opposite of the previous generation.
This new one has attractive lines but also looks wide and low(ish), whereas the old LaCrosse looked WAY too stubby and tall. There was just WAY too much body between the greenhouse and the road, plus the front fascia/grille design was just too tall, adding to the mess.
I’m only 32, but could absolutely see myself driving this beauty.
