Planning to do my first autocross of the season April 2nd. Being that this is in the PA area, the weather could either be snowing or 80 degrees. So it should be interesting for sure! Time to test out if my new headers do something other than just sound loud.

Warminster County Park. It is Philly SCCAs first event of the season. Its a test and tune so I definitely want to go since you generally get 20-30 runs at those! Still need to find tires since my Hoosiers are super done but I have some time to acquire another set.

The test and tune got moved to the 26th, just saying :) I’m unsure if I’ll be at the test and tune or running out at Hershey. If you see a bright orange Fiesta ST, come say hi. The ST’s my dad’s car, I’ll just be there hanging out.

Good luck! How many runs do you get at a normal autocross event? I want to give some YouTubers a chance to drive my car and I think autocross would be a good way to do it. Although I’m afraid it might be too loud.

Well driver skill can always be tuned! I have not once adjusted anything other than tire pressures at any autox. So I just like getting more than a half dozen runs for the whole day.

Ahh pooo, I was really looking forward to that! I don’t generally go out to the Warminster events since they often run the same day as SJR events for whatever reason. I really liked the event though that I did at the Oxford Valley mall, which was new for last year.
Now that it’s moved into March, I already have a ski trip planned for that weekend so I can’t go.

Depends on the region I have run with. I have gotten anywhere from 3-8 runs at a normal event. The region I run most often with does 3 runs in the morning, 3 runs in the afternoon, for a total of 6 runs. Then I have done test and tunes where I have gotten anywhere between 25-40 runs. After like 30 runs though I definitely get motion sickness, my tires are hating me, and I am just totally dead. But it’s so worth it!

I ran at the Oxford Valley Event... I was severely jet lagged and the 125 degree heat index that day was not friendly. I drove my heat, instructed some dudes and went home. I was beat, lol.
I ran the SJR event in October too, were you at that one? That’s been my only SJR event, because like you said, they seem to be the same weekend as something else, lol

Oh yeah, it was really hot that day! Was that the time where the wheel fell off the Evo and flew across the street? Crazy really. And yeah I probably was at that event as well. I think I still had a grey passenger door at the time.

Haha there are always so many miatas! I was definitely there (found a photo of me there) and your RS is actually the lead photo in there lol. The fucking prius though is my favorite. That shit cracks me up every event.
