Looks like a dealership network in jp. Nice stuff. Sort of like the autotrader I guess;
tradecarview is an online automobile marketplace where anyone can buy desired car, especially from Japan. Founded in 1996, tradecarview aims to connect oversea Buyers and Japanese used car dealers. About 1,000 used car dealers (as of November 2014) are joining our members as Sellers and about 850,000 overseas Buyers are registered in order to purchase high-quality, affordable second hand cars directly from Japan.

tradecarview does not sell or export used cars by itself, it does not own any used cars. tradecarview is merely marketplace owner and vehicles available on tradecarview belong to tradecarview used car dealers and will be exported by each dealers.

I would rather buy from a recommended broker, BraveAuto is well recommended;

Plus you can search the auctions yourself..

This is a thing I wished I didn’t know existed.

That said, the only reviews I could find certainly take them to the cleaners. Looks like people have had problems with fraudulent sellers, “creative” paperwork, and cars not being in the condition they were described.

Also it appears while you may be able to get the car to your country for that price, you’ll have to deal with any import madness on your own.

So... not as cool or cheap as it first appears (nothing ever is, is it?) but could be a cool way to get interesting cars too. Please post about your experience if you end up buying something!

Flavien here is selling one of those Crowns with a manual on BringATrailer for an insanely reasonable price if you wanted to import one!

Will also vouch for Brave Auto Auctions or Pacific Coast Auto as well-regarded importers.
