Guess I have officially peaked right now. It is on every car enthusiasts list to drive. Either you love it or you hate it... But you still want to drive it to see if it lives up to the hype train.

It was also on my list. Pretty much since the beginning. But chances of a small YouTuber to get behind the wheel of one of those cars is slim to none. I posted a message on my YouTube that I was sick and tired of chasing the dream of 100K subscribers and I was slowing down or perhaps bowing out altogether. And guess what? That is what got me this review. The owner and his son were fans of my humble little channel and offered me a chance, to sweeten the pot. To keep me going. Come to think of it... That was totally a move out of the first Mad Max movie. Fifi ordered a hot car for Max to keep him in the Main Force Patrol... Naturally I took the deal just like Max did... Who can say no to a hot car?

Is the hype real? I could tell you it is... but it is better to just simply show you...

I haven’t driven one, but it’s pretty high up there on my bucket list.

I feel like I would make the same sort of facial expressions as well.

Don’t mind it. Wouldn’t own it. Would love to drive it.

I could be broken, but GTR doesn’t pass one test for me - Does it have a manual?

I don’t particularly want a car that can do 0-60 in 1.2 nanoseconds. I want to enjoy driving it, not pray that it doesn’t kill me at the next green light

That’s the thing though... It’s unlikely to kill you at all. And sure, a clutch is a rewarding experience, my 05 Mustang GT is a manual and I wouldn’t have it any other way. But it drives so well... I can only imagine a track day with one.

I think many think this way! I would own it... but only after 1. Old school muscle and 2. DeLorean

It was impossible not to! It was just THAT quick! Never ever felt such raw acceleration from a dead stop.

Haha! DeLorean of course!

I think the acceleration would provide a few cheap thrills. But I can’t see me loving it. Acceleration isn’t the best part of driving ;)

Let’s be clear here. The biggest danger to me is me. I can kill myself with hot wheels car.

I would much rather the rumbling of V8 and 5 speed convertible than McLaren P1 ripping my face off on every turn.
