Old model (black) and later model Renault Mégane CC. The old model is a fairly common sight, the new one not. The market has turned against CCs and there are few still in production.

We had the later one in black, with the 1.5 diesel when I did my road trip through italy/france a few years ago.

What the hell is happening with that later CC interior? Red dash, black doors, red and white seats, at least be consistent like in the older model.

Awesome, thought it was your FTO! :)
I’ve always loved those things....the styling is just very clean to me. Still look modern even considering their age :)

How about a new one?
I find it somewhat hilarious that these were all the rage in the ‘90s but now won’t be touched even with a ten foot pole. The buying public is pretty mindless and dumb sometimes.

I’d take the old one thanks

Weight is one reason. It tends to cause CO2 which isn’t a good thing nowadays.

Yes, but I find it hard to believe a Megane CC will be any lighter (or efficient) than a Captur/Kadjar/Kumquat/whatever people buy these days. Certainly it’s not as practical, but I guess a standard Megane isn’t good enough for anyone anymore...
