Kinja'd!!!

My Michelin Latitudes are down to 4/32 “ after 26 months and 14,000 miles. They are rated for 55,000 miles. they offered $82/tire pro-rata, on a $250 tire. Therefore it will cost me at least $800 to have new ones installed after 14,000 miles. Also, my dying battery meant they had to roll it out of the shop and jump it. The battery was installed in April of 2015. Lesson: Land Rover LR4 eats tires and batteries. Here’s a different Luxo SUV barge for your time:

Have you had your alignment checked? It may be out just enough to wear tires but not out enough to affect handling.

sounds like there might be an electrical drain on the battery if its already going south. I hear you on the tires though, bummer.

Jebus that’s bad, the super sports on my ZHP last longer than that, and I do track days on them.

There has to be something wrong. My 2014 Silverado has 67k mi and the tires Are maybe halfway to the wear bars. I also got nearly 30k on a set of pilot super sports on my z06(not driven lightly).

I completely understand, I had a 4Runner before my tC and that thing ate tires like nobody’s business! I’m having the same problem with my tC (may or may not be due to the burnouts XD) and they’re super low after 9,500 miles!

Just replaced the two rear tires on one of my cars after 18000 miles— Pirelli P-Zeros. $800 for only two tires! In fairness to Pirelli, I might have had something to do with that, though.

I must be super hard on tires. Perhaps I don’t spend enough time on the highway.

Definitely sounds like the alignment is off. I scrubbed a shoulder of a tire down to the belts because of a toe in situation less than 20k miles. Hopefully it’s something simple.
