This is probably my favorite pass from lights out 8. I just can’t believe how straight it goes lifting the wheels and bouncing down the track.

That’s amazing. What does it take to get the car to stay straight with the front end off the ground like that? I’m imagining a winning combination of a spooled axle and a perfectly straight launch, but is that enough?

Most likely a four link and a lot of chassis tuning. Based on how high the wheelie went, I don’t think he has any of the advanced chassis control stuff that some guys are running.

A perfect set up and a really well prepped track.
Honestly if I knew how I would be doing it too. ;)
Just to get a small tire car to go that fast without a whellie bar is tough and this guy does it on 2 wheels.

I’m not a big fan of it but it’s so much easier on the cars I understand why all the big dollar heads up races are going that way.

Well, obviously I have no input on the rules of the class but that sounds incredibly stupid. To me they are a safety feature and you shouldn’t be restricted on safety features.

I actually like the small tire no bar classes better. Closer racing and better finishes. The big tire pro mod guys either hook and cook or go into wheelspin. Either way these cars are a handful thats for sure.
