Curious what’s in the garage

If it’s like my neighborhood... which it obviously isn’t.... it’ll be a full kitchen and dining table, or a living room complete with couches and end tables.

This one of your friends you convinced to get both an E9X M3 and an Acura MDX?

I was going to say too bad the M3 is a convertible, but I would like one in addition to mine considering how nice it’s been recently. I’m just going to go ahead and assume that their other M3 is in the garage.

Beautiful house. Needs a bit more landscaping.

I always wondered who lived in houses like that. Architects? Engineers? Lawyers?

Engineer here. I can’t afford that. My architect gf would approve of it tho.

Haha, no I don’t know him. He also has a cherry E36 M3 sedan parked on the street just out of frame.

It was open the other day, just boxes and bicycles. They recently moved in, so maybe he’ll start parking his cars in there soon.

I was driving on Woodstock Rd the other day, not 92 the one that goes in front of Roswell North, and saw this one house that had an E38 with a Dinan badge on the back and an E36 M3 in the drive way. Also looked like they had an older BMW coupe in the back as well, something like and E9 or an E24, I couldn’t tell. I was like damn someone likes their BMWs.

I hate this style of house.

I’d prefer something more grand like this.

Me too. I drive by it a couple times a week, and wondered what was inside. I kind of wished I didn’t know now.

That’s a bit over the top for his neighborhood. He’d have to buy almost the whole neighborhood and tear it down just for a lot that size (mostly bungalows on tiny lots).

Nah, overscale capitals, unnecessary dormers, fake looking stone and stucco, off-center chimney, too many different rooflines in too small of an area - few things can beat good neoclassical architecture, but that isn’t good neoclassical architecture. Its way better than your typical McMansion, but, if you have the money for that, why not spend it on real quality?

Because they wanted their place to look like a brick white house? It is a greek revival style mansion. They spent all of that money, so they could look fancy. lol

If by “grand” you mean “hideous, overwrought, poorly-designed and cheaply built,” you’re welcome to it.
