Kinja'd!!!

More sound deadener. Ripped off the vapor shield and went nuts. Seems to have made a difference, though one of the clips that holds the door panel on doesn’t want to lock into place properly anymore but I don’t think it’s causing an issue.

Makes the door closing sound way more sexy. Did you apply to the outer door skin too before closing it up?

I need a dry day to do this to my truck. The doors sound so hollow when I close them.

Good mod especially for a street driven car. We do this whenever we have the interior apart of any car we refurbish.

I think I’ll be doing this when it’s time to replace the Delrin V1 window bushings with the thicker and thus less-rattly updated design. That said, I’m not in a mood to do that anytime soon.

Hopefully doing vapor shield-less doesn’t hurt anything!
