Kinja'd!!!

This car came with EcoBoost.

This, from the same work mate who bragged about their 2004 TSX outrunning a Coyote powered Mustang.

Not unusual for a chap who’s 20 years of age. A bit odd from one who is almost 40. My work mate happens to be the latter.

Ask him what size Ecoboost. Say, “oh, I didn’t know Nissan used proprietary Ford technologies”. Ask him what it’s like to have his head so far up his own arsehole that it’s come out his mouth.

Technically ecoboost isnt a proprietary Ford Technology, it is however a tradmarked name. same with EcoBeast...

Ah, the base Nissan Altima. Look up rental car in the dictionary and I think there’s a picture of one of those.

Fair enough, you’ve got me there.

If we don’t see an EcoBeast Mustang, I’ll be sad.

What sucks is I like this guy one on one. Sometimes. But he’s so full of shit. I’m happy for anyone who gets a new vehicle and I don’t want to shit on someone’s purchase. But. Come. On.

I’m sure there’s an asterisk here, such as “*from 71-83mph while VTEC was enabled and the Mustang driver had the cruise control set to 75 while texting.”

To be fair, it is entirely possible that this Altima and an Ecoboost Fusion, owned by the same rental company, were being repaired at the same time and the wrong badge got put on the wrong car. There’s probably some poor confused soul out there driving his PureDrive Fusion right now.
