That was the only time I got it to go on the first crank. I was pretty surprised too. It was somewhat warm, as I’d started it about twenty times before I started recording it. But yeah, the electric starter usually takes longer than that.
But arguably it is a modern ignition. It’s not coil-on-plug, and it’s only TBI, but it’s got fuel injection and no distributor.
