And the engine just happened to have followed me home. Spotted it Saturday, pulled it Sunday. Don’t have anything to put it in but I can think up a future project for it. I missed the chance when I saw a 164 in the junkyard last year but jumped on it this time. It was 50% off, what was I supposed to do?

That’s more Geo Storms than I’ve seen in the past decade.

It was alarming.

I wouldn’t have thought of that, would be very interesting though. There was a 900 in the yard too.

Those are way better than the Pick N Pull in Woodinville. That one is filled with old Luminas and fleet rigs.

Noted, avoid Woodinville.

Isn’t that the engine needed for the stratus kit car from England?

Stratos, and yes it just happens to be the preferred engine for that kit car. :)

Awesome! Thanks for saving the Alfa engine...Yay Busso! The alternator on it looks quite new, hopefully you can find it an awesome home!

Too good to pass up. Everything looked really well cared for. New oil, new trans fluid, newer belts. Alternator is like new, I’m assuming they were having electrical problems and that was one of the things they tried.

Till I saw a pic of the pulled engine I was about to ask if it would be wrong to nab and engine and repurpose it. Funny how that works

How was the condition of the alfa interior? And how much did the engine cost?

Ooh it had plenty of corossion hidden underneath. But it is pretty clean by 70s British standards.

Interior was in good condition but starting to mold. Backseats were gone, but dash and gauges were all perfect. Engine and automatic trans cost $303
