Don’t think I knew about that Nissan keyless number pad. Those Toyota pickups were picked clean!

My mom had an SL like that. If they get hit and have the slightest bit of frame damage they decertify and total. I’m guessing that’s what happened there.

Dajiban! My grandparents had a grey one just like the one in the first two pics. An ’83, I think it was. I never drove it, but I remember it being so spacious, with great visibility.

They are awesome, my parents had a high roof handicap version. I was able to ride my motorcycle right through the back door and tie it down to the wheelchair spots. Kinda want another one now.

The Turbo Lancer is a rare bird these days, sad it is ending this way as someone must have taken care of it. The pre-87 Caravan is getting thin on the ground too.

That R129 looks like maybe a 1994-95 model. If miled up, not worth a fortune even in good condition. With some miles and wear, the damage seen would total it.

I was up at Arlington last weekend. So many vans.

It’s been a long time since I was near one of that vintage, much less inside. I just took a minute to GIS to refresh my memory of what the inside looks like, and wow I remember feeling like a king in there. The giant doghouse, the seating position, and that commanding view... good times.

Bring that Lancer Home. Somewhere there is a Mopar/Shelby fanboi that wants it.

I wish I could, was in great shape. Pick-N-Pull won’t sell a car once it reaches the yard though.

I haven’t been up to that one yet, maybe later this year.

Yeah, I wish people had enough sense to list it on an enthusiast forum or facebook page. It was far too nice to be scrap.

Last time I was in a junkyard was 10+ years ago, the Lynnwood Pull-a-part. Arlington is a newer facility and it’s actually pretty nice. All the lanes of cars are on asphalt with rock drainage that you walk down. Looked like mud and water isn’t an issue versus Lynnwood, or Everett before it was turned into a Walmart.

That’s what I was suspecting.

I bet they had a lot more older steel back then. Water was a serious issue at the Tumwater location. Some cars were above 3-6 inches of water.

I would have assumed it would be more likely to go to a specialty yard.

Man, junkyards make me sad even though they do help keep my hoonmobiles running. :’( Hate seeing otherwise good cars end up there. There was a 944 locally that made me so mad to see in there that, ugh.

I should visit a pick n’ pull junkyard one of these days, I’ve been itching for something mechanical to do, preferably cheap as well. Also that first truck being help up that way, pls, why, that’s gonna kill someone.
